The Differences Between Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Hypnotherapy

Through relaxation techniques and guided imagery, the therapist can help clients visualize a more positive future and work towards achieving it. This type of therapy is often more flexible and adaptable to the individual needs of the client. It also avoids clients getting upset and going through difficult memories, due to this, is it not done in groups, only individual sessions.
Solution focused hypnotherapy does include parts of cognitive behavioural therapy, but cognitive behavioural therapy does not include solution focused hypnotherapy. Both of these therapies can be done either face to face, in person, or online, virtually.
So, which type of therapy is right for you? It really depends on your specific goals and needs. If you're looking for a more structured approach to tackling negative thought patterns and behaviours, CBT may be the better option.
